Third In-Person Meeting of the Jesuit Entrepreneurship Center Alliance (JECA) Held in Boston
On November 3rd, Boston hosted the third in-person meeting of the Jesuit Entrepreneurship Center Alliance (JECA), a gathering that took place as part of the Global Conference on Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC). The event brought together over 700 participants from across the globe, focusing on the future of entrepreneurship education and collaboration among Jesuit universities.

JECA, a growing alliance, was created to foster a space for reflection, collaboration, and exchange among the entrepreneurship centers of Jesuit universities worldwide. The initiative aims to promote an entrepreneurial approach and education aligned with the values of the Society of Jesus, contributing to the common good and social justice.
During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to share ongoing projects and explore potential synergies between different centers. Many universities presented collaborative initiatives that could take shape in the medium term, enhancing their collective impact on society. More than 15 Jesuit universities from Europe, Asia, and the United States were represented at the event, marking a significant step forward in creating a global network of Jesuit-driven entrepreneurship efforts.
The meeting was an important milestone in JECA's mission to strengthen collaboration between institutions and promote a vision of entrepreneurship that prioritizes ethical, socially responsible, and sustainable practices. The event served as a reminder of the power of higher education institutions in shaping a better future through innovation and collaboration.
